Donate School Supplies and Equipment Covid-19 Prevention
On 19 February 2022 , H.E BADEL Khan the President of Cambodian Charity Organization led a team of volunteers to visit and distribute charitable gifts to 15 teachers and 404 students who are studying at Samdech Techo Hun Sen Chub Romdeng Primary School. It is located in Chob Romdeng Village, Kantuot Commune, Svay Leu District, Siem Reap province, about 95 km from Siem Reap city, which is a remote village. At the same time, this is the first time that the Cambodian Charity Organization has visited Siem Reap after the royal government decided to reopen the country and schools.
On this occasion, Cambodian Charity Organization organized a project to visit and distribute charitable donations such as 12500 masks, 120 liters of alcohol, 2,080 books, 1372 pens, 158 pencils, 85 erasers, 85 pencil sharpeners, color 85 boxes, 900 packets of snack, and allowances for volunteer teachers.
The President met with students and also encouraged the efforts of teachers and encourage students to study hard to be good children, good students, good friends, good citizens for the future can get good jobs to help families and National society. At the same time, the President also mentioned the prevention of Covid-19 communicable diseases in accordance with the high recommendation of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, 3 measures, and 3 prevention, which is the most effective way to prevent Covid-19 disease.
After the program, the President met and discussed with the village chief, village members, principals, teachers, volunteers, and parents’ representatives. The principal spoke about the difficulties and shortcomings that the school is facing: Handwashing facilities, libraries, sports facilities, and recreation areas for students, as far as the Cambodian Charity Organization can help. At the same time, the President responded and gave them hope that the volunteer organization would help as much as the organization could.
